
Our school logo translates as “The Softest Becomes the Strongest”. It embodies the philosophy of our approach to Wing Chun.
Here the word soft should not be confused with weak or deficient. The soft approach to Wing Chun stresses structure over
muscular tension for receiving and delivering force. A soft penetrating energy is the trademark of traditional Wing Chun.
Emphasis is placed on position, timing and structure allowing skill to be cultivated over time. This approach is rooted in

Six Elements of Good Form:
Mok Lik (Eye Power)
Jung Dao (Head Up Relax the Shoulders)
Mai Jeong (Elbow Position)
Ting Yu (Pelvis Forward)
Kim Sut (Knees In)
Lok Ma (Low Stance)
